PlateAI is operated by Elazar Shlomo. We want you to enjoy cooking with PlateAI. If something isn't right, we offer a fair refund window so you can try the Service risk-free.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You can request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date for any reason. This applies to both monthly and yearly subscription purchases.
Digital Content: By using the Pro features, you acknowledge that you are receiving immediate access to digital content. However, we honor this 30-day window for all first-time users as part of our satisfaction guarantee.
How to Request a Refund
Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, who is the Merchant of Record for all PlateAI orders. To request a refund:
- Via Paddle: Visit paddle.net and use their virtual assistant to look up your order by email address.
- Via PlateAI Support: Contact us through the app or at supportgetplateai@gmail.com, and we will coordinate the refund with Paddle on your behalf.
What Happens After a Refund
- Access: Once a refund is approved, your Pro access ends immediately and your account reverts to the free plan.
- Timeline: Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5-10 business days.
- Policy Against Abuse: To protect our service, we reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected fraud, account abuse, or "serial refunding" (multiple refund requests by the same user).
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account's Manage Subscription page.
- Cancellation vs. Refund: Cancellation prevents future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period.
- Renewal Refunds: While the initial purchase is covered by the 30-day guarantee, subsequent automatic renewals are generally non-refundable unless required by your local statutory law (such as the 7-day cooling-off period under the South African ECTA).
